Our office is at 1068/11 in Gaonbhag. If you know where the S.T. Stand is, we are right opposite that. We are on the left side of the Ambedkar Statue, which is a very easy landmark to spot from a distance. We are actually located right above Hotel Aswad. You can usually smell the food from downstairs around lunchtime, which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how hungry you are. Suresh Deshmukh and Associates has been here for years. The building is a bit older, and the stairs have that worn-down look you see in busy places. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves of files and a few heavy wooden desks. We don't have a receptionist, so you usually just walk in and one of us will look up from our work to say hello. It’s a busy environment because of the bus stand nearby, so there’s a lot of coming and going. We handle all sorts of local matters here. We don't use any fancy software for everything; some things are still done the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It’s a practical way to work and it has served us well so far. The fans in the office hum all day, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It is a very ordinary, hardworking space. If you're coming to see us, the hotel downstairs is the best way to find the right door.
