Shri Venkatesh Sales & Services

Our business, Shri Venkatesh Sales & Services, is located in Vardhman Plaza on Kolhapur Road. We actually have three units there—A/B-07, 06, and 09. It’s a bit of an odd setup, but it gives us the room we need for storage and a small area to talk to people. Kolhapur Road is a very busy commercial street, so there’s always something happening outside. We sell different kinds of equipment and then we handle the servicing for them later on. It’s a lot of manual work, especially when heavy items come in for repair. We don't have any polished displays or fancy lighting. It’s just shelves, tools, and boxes. We open the shop around ten and usually close up by eight in the evening. My family has been running this for a while. We aren't big on corporate talk or mission statements. We just fix what's broken and try to sell things that actually work. The plaza itself is a bit old, and the stairs can be a bit steep, but it's home to us. We know all the other shopkeepers in the building. Sometimes we share a tea and talk about how the market is doing. Most of our customers come from the nearby residential colonies. They know we’ve been here a long time and they trust us to give them a fair price. It’s just a regular local business doing what it does best every day.
