SHRI MAHANKALI NIDHI LIMITED

Down here in Kavathe Mahankal, things move at a different pace than the big cities. We are located right at Yuvvani Chowk, which is a spot most people around here know pretty well. It’s right in the middle of the Taluka. Being in Sangli district means we get a lot of heat in the summer months. Our office is a simple place where we keep the registers and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the wind picks up at the chowk. Shri Mahankali Nidhi Limited is just the name on our local paperwork. Usually, someone is always around to answer questions if you just stop by. We know many of the faces that pass by the window every day. It’s mostly farmers or local shop owners coming into town for their errands. We keep the doors open mostly to let a breeze in. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It is a very basic setup. We focus on getting the small things right for the people who live nearby. It is just how things are done here in this part of Maharashtra.
