SHAH RATANSHI KHIMJI AND COMPANY has its spot over at Building No-92, right on Lane-2 of the Vasant Market Yard. If you are looking for us, we are pretty close to the Raja Ram Bapu Bank. The yard is a busy place, especially in the mornings when the trucks are arriving and everyone is trying to find a place to park their bikes. Our space is usually a bit cluttered with ledgers and stacks of papers that need filing. We are a family-run kind of setup, so things aren't always super formal around the office. You might see a stray cat wandering through the lane or hear the noise of the workers shouting to each other outside near the loading docks. It’s a loud environment but it’s where we feel at home after all these years. We’ve been in this trade for a long time, and the name on the door has some real history behind it. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on the actual work at hand. Our desks are old, the chairs might creak a little, and there is always a pot of tea being shared among the staff. We know most of the other people in the market yard by their first names. It’s a community where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don’t have any big slogans. We just come in and handle the business.
