Samarat Travels

Our office is located in the Samrat Mansion building over in Mahavir Nagar. It is a decent, quiet spot in Sangli for the most part. We are situated right opposite Gujarthi Highschool. In the mornings, you can hear the kids shouting on the playground and the school bells ringing. It gets quite loud around noon when they all go home for the day. We are specifically at Survey No 290 A/2. The building itself is quite large, so it is relatively easy to spot from the street. We have been set up in this location for some time now. Usually, one of us is in the office from early morning until late in the evening. We handle a lot of the local travel needs for people in the neighborhood. Folks come in to ask about bus timings or maybe booking a car for a family wedding. We have some old plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The ceiling fan in the corner makes a clicking sound, but we are used to it by now. Sangli weather can get pretty hot during the summer, so we keep the windows shut to keep the heat out. Most of the people around this block know us by now. We are just local folks trying to run a small business. It is not like those big, shiny corporate places you see in the major cities. We know many of our customers by their first names. Sometimes we share snacks with the shopkeepers next door when things are slow. If you are looking for the high school, you will definitely find us. It is a familiar landmark in this part of town. We just keep things moving.
