Samagra Welfare Foundation

Down in Manerajuri, Tasgaon, you will find the Samagra Welfare Foundation at Milkat No. 2984. We have been a part of this community for a very long time now. This foundation is our way of giving back to the place where we grew up and went to school. We don’t have much in the way of a fancy setup or modern furniture. It’s a very practical space where we store things people might need and meet to talk about what’s going on in the village. The Sangli-416312 area has its own set of problems, and we just try to tackle them one by one. It could be helping a student find some books for their exams or organizing a small health check for the older folks. We aren't a big organization coming in from the city; we are just your neighbors. Sometimes the work is really frustrating because there is never enough money or time to help everyone who asks. We do our best with the small bits that the local people contribute. You might see us walking around Manerajuri, checking in on people or seeing if the water supply is working okay. It’s simple work, and we don’t use big words or make any grand promises. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be done. It’s a small life, but it feels good to be useful right here at home.
