Own Pediatric Hospital

Out in the Kandhar area of Nanded district, we have Own Pediatric Hospital. It’s a place specifically for the kids. The building is simple, nothing like the big city hospitals you see on TV. We have some colorful stickers on the walls to make it look less plain for the children. Kandhar is a bit of a drive for some people, but we are here for those who live around Nanded. The rooms are small and we keep them as clean as we can. It’s often noisy here because, well, children cry and play. We don't have a big corporate office or a PR person. It’s just us nurses and staff trying to keep the schedule on track. We deal with runny noses, fevers, and all the usual stuff kids get. The heat in Nanded can be tough, so we keep the fans going all day. There’s a small area where parents can sit while they wait. We don’t use fancy medical words if we can help it. We just tell it like it is. Being in Kandhar District means we know a lot of the families who come through the door. It’s a tight community. We just do our work and go home like everyone else. The hospital is just a building on a street, but it’s where we spend our lives. We don't promise anything crazy, just that we are open.
