Nihal Kirana Store

The store is right by the Karandwadi bus stop in Ward No. 1. It’s easy to find if you’re waiting for a ride or just walking through the village. We have been here for a good while now, serving the local people. It is a simple kirana shop, nothing fancy at all. We stock the usual things people need for their kitchens like different types of dal, rice, sugar, and cooking oil. You can also find some snacks and biscuits on the shelves for the kids. The place is small and sometimes the bags of grain get piled up a bit high, making it a little cramped to move around. Karandwadi is a quiet place most of the time, though the bus stop area gets busy in the mornings and evenings when people are heading to work or coming back to the village. We know most of the people who come in by name. They usually don't even need to tell us what they want because they buy the same things every week. Sometimes the supply truck is late or the weather makes things a bit difficult, but we manage. It’s just a basic shop for the village needs. We keep the counter clean and try to make sure we don't run out of the basics like salt or matches. It's just a regular part of life here in the Walwa tehsil. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket, just a local spot.
