Navratna Hotel

We’re located in Joshi Galli, right in the heart of Tasgaon. If you know where the Anjali Patil Hospital or the HDFC Bank is, then you’ve probably walked right past us. Navratna Hotel has been a part of this street in Sangli for a long time. It isn't a hotel for sleeping; it's more of a traditional eating house where people stop in for a quick meal. The space is a bit cramped, especially on market days when the whole town seems to be out on the street. We’ve got old wooden chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t bother with much decoration because people are mostly here to eat and get on with their day. The kitchen is right there so you can hear the pots clanking while you wait. We focus on simple dishes that people in this area like. My brother and I run the place with a bit of help from some local boys. We don’t have a fancy sign or any marketing. People just know us because we’ve always been here. Sometimes we have to ask people to share tables when it gets crowded, but nobody seems to mind much. It’s just a friendly, local spot in Tasgaon where you can get a decent plate of food without spending much.
