Metro Auto Agencies is based right in the heart of Sangli, at 2375 Azad Chowk in the Momina Mohalla area. We’ve been in this building, Gulmohommad, for quite a while now. The neighborhood is always alive with people walking by and scooters zooming through the narrow streets. Our shop is mostly filled with auto parts and various bits and pieces for vehicles. It’s a bit cluttered at times because we try to keep a lot of items on hand. There isn't any fancy decor here, just metal shelves and counters that have seen a lot of use. We spend our days helping people who come in looking for a specific bolt or a cable for their car or bike. Sangli can get quite hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we work. We know most of the people around Azad Chowk by name. It’s a community-based kind of place. We don’t have a website that’s updated every hour or a big corporate office. It’s just us behind the counter, looking through catalogs or searching the back room for a part. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. We focus on the work at hand and making sure people get what they need so they can get back on the road. It’s just how we do things here in Momina Mohalla.
