Maind Charitable Foundation

Our foundation is located at Plot G-13 in the Kupwad Block of the MIDC area in Sangli. Being in an industrial zone like MIDC means it’s a bit different from a typical office setting. It’s more practical and down-to-earth. Maind Charitable Foundation is something we started to address some of the needs we saw around this part of Sangli. It’s an area with a lot of workers and families, so there’s always something that needs doing. Our space is pretty basic. We have some desks, some chairs, and plenty of paperwork. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We just want to be reachable for the people who live and work around here. Most of us grew up in this region, so we know the local issues pretty well. We don’t have any fancy slogans or big campaigns. We just look at what’s needed and see if we can help out in some way. Sometimes we’re helping with local small-scale projects, and other times we’re just offering a bit of guidance where we can. It’s not always glamorous work, and sometimes the office gets a bit dusty being in the industrial block, but it’s where we belong. We’re just a bunch of locals trying to do right by our town. It’s simple, steady work that we feel is worth doing. We don't plan on moving anywhere else and like the industrial vibe.
