Lord Sai Bakers Association

Our bakery is over in Shivneri Nagar, right there in Kupwad. If you look for Plot No. 34 on that stretch, you will find us. We have been doing this for some time now as an association. It is mostly just local folks working together to get the bread and biscuits out. The ovens get really hot, especially in the afternoons, so we try to do most of the heavy baking early. There is always flour on someone's shirt or on the floor. We do not worry too much about having everything look perfect as long as the food is good. People in Sangli like their snacks fresh. We get the supplies in every couple of days. Sometimes the dough doesn't rise like we want, but that is just how it goes with baking. We talk a lot while we work to pass the time. It is a noisy place with the machines and people shouting over each other. But it feels like a community. We have our regulars who come by just to see what is coming out of the oven. We do not have a big corporate team. It is just us in the shop making things. The address is 2A/2 if you are ever looking for the exact spot. We just keep our heads down and work. The smell of fresh bread is the only thing we really care about.
