Little Star School

Little Star School is situated in Tasgaon, over in the Sangli district. We are located near Parag Enterprises, which is a well-known spot in the area. Our school is specifically for the younger children, so there is always a lot of noise and energy around here. Tasgaon is a place where people know their neighbors, and we’ve become a part of that fabric over the years. The school itself isn't very large. We have a few classrooms that we’ve tried to make bright and comfortable for the little ones. You’ll often hear the sound of rhymes being sung or kids playing during their recess. We don't have a massive playground, but we have enough space for them to jump around and be kids. Being in Sangli, we are surrounded by a lot of agricultural activity, and you can feel that connection to the land even in the town. Parents usually drop their children off on their way to work, and we spend our time making sure they are safe and learning something new. We don't use any complicated teaching methods. It’s mostly about patience and helping them get used to being in a classroom. We take care of the small things, like making sure their bags are packed and they’ve eaten their lunch before they go home. It’s a simple, busy life we lead here, just looking after the stars of our town every single day.
