Running Kumar Builder, Pune from an office in Vita might seem a bit odd to some people, but it works for us. Our main spot is Sandeep Niwas, which is located at Gandhi Chowk. If you know Vita, you know how central that is. Being in Khanapur taluka means we are right in the middle of everything happening in this part of Sangli district. The office is usually a bit messy with site maps and samples of bricks or tiles laying around. We don't spend much money on fancy decorations because we’d rather be out at the construction sites. Most of our day is spent checking on work or meeting with suppliers nearby. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually find one of us sitting there even on Saturdays. We handle everything from here, from the first sketch to the final brick. The building, Sandeep Niwas, is easy to find if you are coming from the main road. We don't do much advertising. Most people just hear about us from their cousins or neighbors and then walk into the office at Gandhi Chowk. We like it that way. It’s more personal. You get to know the families you are building for. It’s hard work, and the weather in Sangli can be tough, but seeing a house finally stand up makes it worth the trouble.
