Our shop is right at A/B060708 in Vardhaman Plaza, which is easy enough to find since it’s directly opposite the Chintamani Marriage Hall on Kohlapur Road. You can usually hear the music or see the crowds when there’s a wedding going on across the street. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly focusing on sales and fixing up equipment that people bring in. The plaza is always full of people coming and going, so it stays pretty noisy from morning until we close up at night. We’ve got shelves filled with parts and tools scattered around the workbench because there’s always something halfway finished. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know exactly where every wrench and screw is hidden. People from all over the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask a question about a machine or to see if we have a specific part in stock. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. The Kohlapur Road traffic can be a headache, but it brings plenty of folks to our door. We just try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s better off being replaced. It’s a busy, dusty, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way than this.
