Janata Hospital

Down in Sonar Lane, you’ll find Janata Hospital. It’s tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the sign among the other shops and houses. It is a local hospital that has been part of the community for a good while. We don't have those shiny glass walls or expensive coffee machines you see in the big city hospitals. Instead, we have white walls, ceiling fans that hum all day, and floors that get scrubbed every morning. There are always people coming and going, some for emergencies and others just for regular checkups. The doctors and nurses here are usually pretty busy, moving from one bed to another. Sonar Lane can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle for the visitors. We have some wards for people who need to stay overnight and a small area for outpatient visits. It gets loud sometimes when the hallways are full, but we manage. Everyone here works hard to keep things organized, even when it feels like a lot is happening at once. We’ve seen many families grow up around here, bringing their kids in for shots or coming back years later for themselves. It’s just a plain, working hospital where we do our best with what we have. It’s part of the street, and we like it that way. We just keep doing what needs doing for the folks who live nearby.
