S. B. Patil Engineering

S. B. Patil Engineering is located right along the Islampur Highway in the Sangliwadi area. Specifically, we're in Tatugude Mala. If you're driving down the highway, you'll see us. We do a lot of general engineering work, mostly repairs and making small parts for machines. The shop has been here for a while. It’s a lot of welding and lathe work. My dad started this place with just one machine, and we’ve added a few more over the years. It’s not a fancy factory. It’s a place where you get grease on your hands and sparks flying everywhere. We take on whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a broken tractor part or some custom brackets for a building. The highway traffic makes it easy for people to drop stuff off. It gets pretty loud with the trucks passing by and our grinders running at the same time. We don’t have a secretary or anything. If you want to talk to us, you just shout over the noise. We try to get things done as fast as we can because we know people need their equipment back. Sometimes we're working late under the shop lights to finish a job. It’s just how we operate. Nothing too complicated, just metal and hard work. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Sangliwadi, but we’re still here doing the same thing. People know us as the place near the highway that can fix their tools. We like it that way.
