Hazrate Hind Foundation

Down in Chiplun, we have our office at Center One. We are in the D Wing, room 103. It is right by the Bahadursheikh Naka, which is a fairly busy part of town. Ratnagiri can be quite a quiet district, but Chiplun always has a bit of movement. Our building is a standard commercial spot. We have been here for a good amount of time and most people in the local area know where we are. The office itself is pretty basic. We don't have a fancy reception or a big boardroom. It’s just a place where we sit and handle the foundation’s business. Being on the ground floor or first floor makes it easy for people to drop by without having to wait for a lift. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of files. The Naka area has a lot of small shops and places to eat, so it’s a good location for us. We spend our days coordinating different activities and talking to people from the neighborhood. It is not a high-pressure environment. We just take things as they come and try to stay on top of our responsibilities. The staff here are all local people who understand the area well. We like being part of the Chiplun community. It’s a practical and honest way to run a foundation without any of the big city pretenses you might find elsewhere. It keeps us busy enough.
