Greenco Agrotech operates out of a bungalow in the Kokane Gal area of Miraj-Sangli. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all the survey numbers and house digits like 2/2A and 246/6A/2, but if you ask for the Shriram building in that part of town, most folks can point you the right way. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on the agrotech side of things. It’s a mix of office work and being out there looking at how technology can actually help a regular farm. Sangli is known for its agriculture, so being right here in Miraj makes it easy to stay connected to what’s happening on the ground. The building we use is more of a home-style setup than a glass office, which suits us just fine. It’s a lot more comfortable when you’re sitting through a long meeting about seeds or irrigation. We usually have a few motorbikes parked out front and someone is always coming or going with some news from the fields. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of the paperwork, though sometimes the pile gets a bit high. It’s a practical way to run a business. We aren't doing anything flashy, just focusing on the tools and techniques that make sense for the climate around here. It gets busy during the planting season, but the rest of the time we just keep things ticking along and making sure our deliveries are on time.
