Grasim Industries Ltd., Cement Business Marketing

We are based out of Sangli, right on Madhavnagar Road in the Kalanagar area. Our office is on Plot No. 13/22, which is easy to spot once you get into the neighborhood. This is where we handle the marketing side for the cement business. It's not the kind of marketing you see on TV, though. It’s more about talking to people, keeping track of orders, and making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. Vinayak Namdeo Khadape is a name you'll hear around the office often. The place stays pretty busy because there's always something to do with the shipments. We have a small group of people working here. We've been in this spot for some time, and we've seen the road outside get much busier over the years. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a functional workspace with desks and a lot of paper. We prefer it that way because it's easier to focus on the work. On rainy days, the road can get a bit muddy, but we're used to it. We just come in, do our hours, and head home. It’s a simple life. We deal with the local builders and suppliers mostly. They know they can find us here during the day. No complications, just getting the work finished as it comes in. It's just how we do things here.
