Down here in Kapuskhed, things move a little slower than in the big cities. Our office is at house number 1253/6, which is right in the village area of Taluka Walwa. Dypatil Janvikas Nidhi Limited is basically just us helping out the local people with their money matters. Most of our days are spent talking to farmers and small shop owners who need a bit of help managing their savings. It is a quiet spot, and we are usually open early in the morning when the market nearby starts getting busy. People come in to talk about their accounts or maybe ask about how to save a little extra for their kids. We don't have any big corporate signs or anything like that. It is just a regular room with some registers and a couple of computers that sometimes act up when the power goes out. Being in a place like Kapuskhed means you know everyone’s family history. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some fancy bank from Mumbai. We just handle the deposits and loans according to the rules. Sometimes the tea is cold and the fan makes a lot of noise, but the work gets done anyway. If you are passing by the main road in the village, you can find us easily. It is just a practical place for practical people who live here.
