Desai Agro & Allied Exports

Desai Agro & Allied Exports operates out of Madhavendu Niwas, which is house number 588. We are located near Modak Hospital on the Civil Hospital Road. This part of Jawahar Chowk is usually humming with people. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the work happens. We focus on agro exports, so we spend a lot of time talking about crops and shipping dates. The building is an old residential style, so the rooms are a bit small and cozy. We have stacks of documents on almost every surface. The team is small, mostly just family and a couple of hired hands. We don't really have a corporate culture. We just sit around the main table and figure out what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes a farmer will stop by to show us some samples, and we’ll spend an hour just chatting. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We don't use any slick sales pitches. Most of our connections are built on years of trust and simple handshakes. Being near the hospital means it’s always easy to give directions to people. The traffic can be a bit loud in the afternoons, but we just close the windows and keep working. We aren't looking to expand into a giant office. This place suits us just fine. We just want to get the produce moving and keep our suppliers happy.
