Chaitanya Foods & Baverages

Down in At Post Addas, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Chaitanya Foods & Baverages is our little operation here in Taluka Kej. It started out because we saw how much people needed decent food products and drinks around this area. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy offices; it's mostly just us in a simple building handling the daily tasks. The weather out here in Kej can be quite tough sometimes, especially when the rains are heavy or the sun is beating down on the fields. Our days usually start pretty early before it gets too warm. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure things are moved where they need to go. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because the roads aren't the best, but we've learned to deal with that over the years. It's a lot of manual work and staying on your feet most of the day. We know most of our customers by name since this is a small place. If there is a local festival or something happening in the village, we usually see everyone stopping by. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth works better here. People talk to their neighbors and that is how they find us. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the community here in Addas. We just keep things moving as well as we can.
