Jyoti Gas Agency

Our agency is located at Shivaji Mandi, right on the S.T. Stand Road. It is a very active part of town because of the bus stand being so close by. All day long, you can hear the buses pulling in and out and people rushing around. Inside the shop at number 53, the phone rings quite a lot with people asking about their gas refills or booking status. We have a simple counter where we take the bookings and handle all the paperwork. Out in the back area, there are rows of metal cylinders waiting to be loaded onto the delivery cycles and the small trucks. It is physical work, moving those heavy tanks around and making sure all the seals are okay. The delivery boys are always coming in and out, checking their lists of addresses and heading back out into the traffic. We have a small desk for the registers and a couple of chairs for people who have to wait. It gets a bit crowded when a new truck of stock arrives and we have to stack the empty cylinders out of the way. The concrete floor is pretty scraped up from the metal bottles being moved around every day. We stay open through the heat and the rain because people always need to keep their kitchens running at home.
