Down here in Tasgaon, life moves a bit slower than in the big cities. Our office is located at 339 Limb Hatnoli Rata, which is a bit out of the way for some. We are in the Sangli district, surrounded by open spaces and small local shops. Banayi International is just a small team of us working out of this one spot. We have a couple of desks and a few chairs for whenever someone drops by to talk. It gets quite dusty because of the road out front, so we are always cleaning the furniture in the mornings. We do not have any air conditioning, so we just keep the windows open for a breeze when the weather allows it. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby villages who we have gotten to know over time. It is a very simple way to run a business. We do not use fancy talk or marketing tricks; we just listen and try to be helpful with what we know. Sometimes we have to head into Sangli city for supplies, which can take up half the day if traffic is bad. Most of the time, though, you will find us right here at our desks. It is a modest office, but it is all we really need to get things done. We just aim to be honest and do a solid day’s work for the people around here. That is the long and short of it for us.
