We are located at Rekha S Patil’s house, which is Ghar Number 212 in Ward Number 1. This is in Pokharni, over in the Walwa Taluka of Sangli district. It’s a local operation through and through. We set up in this part of Pokharni because people needed a place nearby to handle their small savings. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting around the table with our ledger books and a calculator. People from the ward walk over when they have some spare cash to put away. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We don't wear suits or use big corporate words. We just talk like we always do. Sometimes the kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. It’s part of being in the neighborhood. We handle things for the people in the village and the surrounding farms. We’ve been here for a bit now, and people have gotten used to coming to house 212 for their money matters. We don't do any big promotions.
