Down in Sagaon, things move a little differently than in the big cities. We’ve got our spot at 25/1 and it’s where we handle the property side of things for the folks around Ta Shirala. It isn't a huge operation by any means. Mostly it's just dealing with land and local houses for people we know. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and seeing what's available in the area. The office isn't anything to brag about, but it serves its purpose for our daily work. People around here know where to find us if they have questions about a plot or a lease. We don’t go in for those big shiny brochures you see in the magazines. Instead, we just write things down and make sure everyone understands what’s happening with their deals. It gets dusty sometimes, and the rainy season makes the roads a bit of a challenge for us, but we like it here. Asbhandare Properties (Opc) Private Limited is just a small business trying to stay busy. We know the land well because we live here too. Dealing with property in a rural area means you have to know the history of the plots and who owned what. We try to keep our records straight and be honest when someone asks for advice. It's practical work and it keeps us occupied. No one here wears a suit unless there’s a wedding or a big party. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be helpful.
