Amit Travel Agency

We are set up in Indria Residency, which is right across from the S T Stand in Sangli. Being right opposite the main bus station means we see a whole lot of people every day. Amit Travel Agency is our small business. We have been in this spot for a while now. It is convenient for people who are getting off the state buses and need another way to finish their journey or reach a small village. Our office is not very large. It is mostly filled with a few desks and some old calendars on the walls. We do not go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. We spend most of our time talking to people and checking on our drivers to see where they are currently located. The noise from the bus stand is something you just get used to after working here for a few months. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the bus horns outside just to be heard. We do not do any big marketing or advertising campaigns. We just have our sign outside and people find their way in. We handle a lot of different types of travel, whether it is a quick trip to the next town or something much further away. We try to keep our prices fair for everyone. We know most of the people who live around this part of Sangli. It is a simple life for us. We just do the work.
