Ambika Masala Food Products

Our business is over in Islampur, very close to the Hanuman Temple. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. We make various masala food products here. The shop isn't very large, and we use most of the space for production and storage. You can hear the temple bells from our front door sometimes. It’s a busy little corner of Islampur. We started this because we knew how to make good masalas and wanted to sell them to the people around here. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we don't have any formal corporate structure. We just work together to get the orders filled. Some days we are working late into the evening if there’s a lot to do. We don't have a marketing department or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or they were visiting the temple and saw our sign. We keep things very simple. The masalas are made in small batches so we can keep an eye on everything. It’s a bit of a slow process, but we aren't in a huge rush. We just want to do a decent job every day. It’s been a few years since we set up shop here, and we’re quite happy with how things are going. Just a local business doing its thing in Islampur. We hope to stay here for a long time.
