Aman Food & Spices

Aman Food & Spices is located in Tasgaon Village, which falls under the Hatkanangale Taluka. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Hanuman Mandir, so you can usually hear the temple bells from our doorway. The village is a quiet place, but our unit stays busy with the sound of grinding machines. We process different spices here, and the air is always thick with the smell of turmeric, chili, and coriander. It makes you sneeze if you aren't used to it, but we don't even notice it anymore. We get our raw materials from the farmers nearby and spend the day cleaning and drying them before they go into the mill. The shop is just a part of the larger processing area where we pack everything into bags. We use simple plastic packaging and hand-written labels for some of the smaller lots. It is a very local business, and most of our neighbors come by to get their spices directly from us instead of going to the big town markets. There is a small porch out front where we sit and talk to the farmers when they bring in their harvest. The work follows the seasons, so some months are much more crowded than others. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a small team of us from the village working near the temple.
