It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. Being near the Ganesh Weigh Bridge means there’s a lot of heavy trucks passing by all day, but we don't mind the noise much anymore. Inside the office, it’s a bit quieter so we can focus on the actual design work. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of people running around. It’s just a local team trying to do work for the people in the Islampur area. We’ve got our computers and drawing boards set up in a way that works for our flow. The office is a bit lived-in, with papers and samples scattered around the tables, but that’s just how we work. We don't try to look like those polished firms in the big cities. We are just Islampur locals who happen to be good at design stuff. People usually find us by word of mouth or by seeing our sign when they are heading down Takari Road. We take things one project at a time here. Some days it’s very busy and we end up staying quite late, other days we can take it a bit easier and have a long tea break with the neighbors. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just try to make things look right for the customer. It’s a practical way to run a small design business and it works for us.
