Srinivasa Rice Depot

My family has been here at Shapur Nagar for a long while now. We run the Srinivasa Rice Depot at 75-9-26. It’s just a regular place where people from Bonthapalle come when they need a sack of rice for their home. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have different kinds of rice stacked up in bags. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere when we move the heavy sacks around, but that is just how it is. People come in, ask what’s good today, and we weigh it out for them. It gets quite busy in the mornings. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. If someone needs help carrying a bag to their scooter, we just do it. It is honest work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the stock is right. The weather here can be tough on the grain if we aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time checking the bags. It is a simple life here in Bonthapalle. We open early and stay open until the sun goes down. There isn't much to say other than we keep the shop running every day. If you are passing by Shapur Nagar, you will see the sign. It’s been there for years and we don't plan on going anywhere. We just keep the bags full and the floors swept as best as we can.
