Sri Rama Rice Industries

We run Sri Rama Rice Industries over at 494/Aa in Pulkal, which is in the Medak area. Running a rice mill or anything related to it is a dusty and loud job. You can hear the machinery humming from the road before you even get to the gate. It’s not a clean, polished environment, but it’s where the work happens. We spend our days checking the grain and making sure the machines are running like they should. Sometimes they break down, and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to get them back online. Our office is just a small corner walled off from the main area where it’s a bit quieter. We’ve been in Pulkal for a long time, and we know the farmers around here well. They bring their loads in, and we talk about the harvest and the weather. It’s a very practical kind of life. We don’t have time for fancy talk or marketing slogans. We just focus on the rice and getting it processed right. The walls are stained and the floors are always covered in a bit of husk, but that’s just how it is. It’s a local business that depends on the land and the seasons. We just take things as they come and try to keep the business steady for another year. It’s hard work but it keeps us going.
