Our shop is at 5027-28 in the Shree Mahaver Market. It’s right near the Baktidham Temple, so you can always hear the bells and the people visiting the temple. The market is very crowded, especially in the mornings. We have a double unit which gives us a bit more room than some of our neighbors, but it still feels small once the customers start coming in. We sell all sorts of ready-made fashion items. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so we use a small ladder to reach the top rows. It’s a lot of folding clothes every single day. The floor is usually covered in plastic bags from the new shipments. We don't have a fancy dressing room, just a small curtained area in the back. Baktidham Temple is a huge landmark, so we just tell people to look for the market right next to it. The traffic in this part of town is a nightmare, but the foot traffic is good for business. We stay open pretty late to catch the people coming home from work. It’s a busy, noisy life here in the market, but we like being in the middle of it all. We just keep our heads down and keep the stacks of clothes moving. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the street noise, but that is just part of being in Shree Mahaver.
