Pavan Flour Milling

Our mill is located at Hno 1-97 in Watpally Village, which falls under the Alladurg Mandal. We have been grinding grain for the local people for quite some time now. The machines are loud and they make the whole floor vibrate when they are running at full speed. There is always a fine layer of flour dust on everything in the shop, no matter how much we sweep up at night. Farmers bring in their big bags of grain, and we process it for them while they wait and chat. We also sell some flour to people who just need a small amount for their daily cooking at home. It is a simple business, but it is important for the life of the village. My name is Pavan, and I run the place with a bit of help from my family when things get really backed up during the busy season. The work is dusty and it can be hard on the throat, so we try to keep the doors wide open for fresh air. We do not have any big signs out front, just the humming sound of the mill letting people know we are open for business. It is a steady routine of pouring grain, watching the stones, and bagging up the finished flour for the customers. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just sit and wait for it to come back on.
