Duccan Alloy Castings

Our workshop is Duccan Alloy Castings, and we’re based out in Patancheru at Plot No. 5-B in Phase 1 of the I.D.A. area. It’s an older industrial estate, so the roads are a bit bumpy and there’s always some construction going on. We’ve got a fairly large shed where all the casting happens. It’s a hot and dirty job, so the place never looks very clean no matter how much we sweep. There’s a small office near the front where we keep the records, but most of the time we’re out on the floor. We don't have any formal uniforms or anything like that. Everyone just wears what's comfortable for the work. We’ve been here for quite some time, and some of the equipment has seen better days, but it still does the job. We don't really have a sales team. Usually, people just call us or drop by when they need something made. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just casting metal, plain and simple. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, and other times it’s quiet enough to go home early. We don’t have a big corporate plan, we just take it one day at a time. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. The neighbors are mostly other small plants like ours.
