Arunagiri Foods Andbeverages Privatelimited is what we call our small operation here in Tellapur. We are tucked away at H.No:18-75 in K.B. Colony. It is a bit of a quiet area most of the time, which suits us just fine. We handle a variety of food and drink items, mostly just basic stuff people need every day. Some days are slow. The building we work out of isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space with enough room for our crates and a small desk. My brother and I started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. Some days the heat in Tellapur is really something, so we try to get the heavy loading done before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers, trying to make sure things arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes the trucks are late and it messes up our whole afternoon, but we just deal with it. We don't have a big team or a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We keep the floors swept and the stock organized as much as we can. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking labels. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the business running and make sure the orders go out to the local shops without too much trouble.
