Kudligi can be a real furnace during the summer months, so having Sri Renuka Ice Industries right here at 3-28-76, Marba, makes a difference for everyone. We aren't a big fancy place, just a local setup that keeps the machines running day and night to keep up with what folks need. Most days it’s just us making sure the blocks are ready and the cooling holds up like it should. You’ll find us right in the Marba area, where the streets get a bit dusty but life moves along at its own pace. We started out because we saw how much this part of town needed a steady supply of ice. It’s hard work, mostly lifting and checking temperature gauges, but we’re used to it. The floor is usually wet and the air is cold inside, which is a nice break from the sun outside. People around here know where we are if they need something for a party or just to keep their goods from spoiling. We don't spend much time on fancy signs or anything like that. We just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just how things go in Kudligi. It’s a simple business, really. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we know our neighbors well. It’s just us, some heavy machinery, and a lot of frozen water.
