Plastic Store

You can find us in Ward No. 22, near the Post Office in Sandila. We are in the Bharawan area, which is part of the Sandila Taluka in Hardoi district. The shop is right near the Banjaro Wali Masjid, so you can hear the prayers throughout the day. We sell all kinds of plastic goods, mostly stuff that the local families and farmers need. It’s a small place with a low ceiling, and we have items hanging from the rafters to save space. I’ve lived in this district all my life, so I know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even if it gets a bit loud when the market is full. We get our stock from the city, and it arrives on a big truck every two weeks. Unloading it is a lot of work. We have to carry everything by hand into the store. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come by to help out for a few coins. It isn't a fancy store with glass windows. It’s more of an open-front shop where you can see everything from the street. We keep a ledger for the regulars who pay at the end of the month. It’s how things have always been done here. When it rains, the street gets quite muddy, but people still come by. We just put some cardboard down on the floor to soak up the water. It’s a simple way to run a shop.
