If you head down to Mata Chowk, you’ll find us there. Rathi Machinery Company has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a long time. We deal with all sorts of machines and parts that people around here need for their work. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with crates and tools, but we know where everything is. It’s a busy spot because the chowk is a central point for a lot of traffic. People often stop by just to ask a question about a piece of equipment or to see if we have a specific part in stock. We don't have a team of salesmen in suits; it’s just us in our work clothes ready to help out. Some of the machinery is heavy and takes some effort to move around, so we spend a lot of our time on our feet. The noise from the street is constant, but it becomes background noise after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable place where folks can get their machinery sorted. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, but that’s just how the supply chain works these days. We’ve seen the chowk change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a straightforward business built on just being there when someone’s machine breaks down. We just keep our tools ready and the doors open.
