We are over at number 321 Bhawani Road in Sanawad. It's a busy spot especially when the supply trucks come in. We spend a lot of our morning moving crates and checking the inventory lists. It’s dusty work and the warehouse part in the back is always a bit cooler than the front office. We’ve been doing this for years, dealing with different agencies and local shops that need stock. Our ledgers are mostly hand-written because that's how we started and it works for us. The phone rings a lot with people asking about prices or when the next delivery is coming. Sanawad is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we spend a fair bit of time just chatting with the drivers and the regulars. We don't have any fancy signs, just the name on the front. Sometimes the orders get mixed up, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Bhawani Road can get quite congested, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early before the traffic peaks. We have some fans running to keep the air moving, but it’s still a typical working agency environment. Nothing more, nothing less. It keeps us on our toes and provides what people need. Most days we are just glad when the last truck leaves and we can close up for the evening.
