Pharma Nutraceuticals

Our place is out at 248 in the Mahagujarat Industrial Estate. It’s quite a drive into Moraiya, especially when the trucks are lined up. Pharma Nutraceuticals works with health supplements and things like that. The air in the facility always smells a bit like vitamins or dried herbs. It’s a clean space, obviously, because of the work we do, but it feels like a factory nonetheless. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the machines are running right. Sanand is growing fast, so there’s always new construction nearby. We started with just a couple of rooms and now we use the whole space at number 248. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still. I’m usually on my feet moving between the warehouse and the small office in the front. We have a small crew, mostly locals from the surrounding villages who come in early. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria or anything. We usually just eat lunch together at the big table in the breakroom. It’s honest work. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, but we have the fans going full blast. We just try to get the batches finished on time so the distributors don't complain. It’s a lot of measuring and weighing. Not very exciting to talk about, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid, so we can't complain much about the routine.
