The Opal Hotel

We are located at The Opal Hotel, which is about 5 kilometers out on Bareilly Road. It sits right on NH 24 in the Modipur area of Rampur. Being on the highway means we get a lot of travelers who are tired from driving. We spend our time managing the rooms and making sure the place is kept up. It’s a big building, so there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here on the ground. We check people in, give them their keys, and let them get some rest. Sometimes the weather out here can be a bit much, with the heat or the rain, but the hotel stays the same. We have a routine of checking the laundry and making sure the lobby looks okay. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be something we’re not. We just provide a place to stay for those passing through Rampur. The staff is local, and we just talk to guests like regular people. We’ve been out here in Modipur for a while and we’ve seen the traffic on NH 24 grow over the years. It’s a lot of work to keep a hotel running, but we just get on with it every day. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything, we just keep the rooms ready for whoever needs them.
