D Raj Plastic Industries

If you walk through Bhatta Mohalla in Pawansa, you’ll eventually find D Raj Plastic Industries. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of activity and the sound of machines humming in the background. We work with plastics all day long, molding and shaping things for various uses. It gets pretty hot in the factory, especially during the summer months when the machines are running full tilt. We spend most of our time monitoring the equipment and making sure the raw materials are feeding through correctly. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved and you definitely don't want to be wearing your best clothes here. Most of the workers live nearby, so we have a good group of local guys who know the drills. It’s a practical business without any frills. Our floor is usually covered in some kind of scraps that we have to sweep up at the end of every shift. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies; we just have our workspace and our tools. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the trucks pulling into the mohalla. It’s a tough job sometimes, and the hours can be long when we have a big batch to finish. But it's what we do, and we've been doing it here in Pawansa for quite some time now. We just focus on the machines and the output every single day.
