Sai Traders

We are Sai Traders and you can find us in Lathi Bazar. It is one of those traditional market areas where everything is a bit crowded and loud. We deal in various goods, mostly buying in bulk and selling to whoever needs it. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things high up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze inside sometimes. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or unloading boxes from the narrow street outside. Lathi Bazar is always full of people, so there is never a dull moment. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the customers to walk in. Dealing with cash and keeping track of the inventory takes up most of our time. It’s a lot of manual counting. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it is quiet, but that doesn't happen often in this part of town. We have been in Lathi Bazar for a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s just a basic trading business where we try to keep things moving. There is always a lot of tea drinking and haggling going on, which is just part of the daily routine for us in this market.
