Technocare , Reliance Bigtv As A Supervisor

This is the place where Rahul Thakur works, out in Sambalpur, Orissa. We’re located over at Dalaipara, near the Sri Surjya Ku. Thakur residence. It’s a local setup, very much integrated into the community here. The work involves supervising the Reliance BigTV stuff, which basically means making sure the installations go right and the technicians know where they’re supposed to be going. Sambalpur is a place where word of mouth matters a lot, so we try to just do the job right so people don't complain too much. It isn't a massive operations center; it’s more of a home-base for the daily tasks. We deal with the satellite boxes and the cables and the remotes that sometimes don’t work like they should. Being a supervisor here means you spend a lot of time on the phone, coordinating with people across the district. The weather in Orissa can be a bit much, especially during the monsoon, which makes getting around to the different houses a real pain. We have to keep track of the schedules and make sure the customers are getting their signals properly. It’s basic work, but it keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team, just the address here in Dalaipara where we manage the daily grind. We've been at this for a bit now, and we know most of the routes around the town quite well.
