Shiva Traders

We have been here at Modipara Chowk for a good while now, right on Pani Tanki Road. It is a busy spot, mostly because of the water tank landmark everyone knows. Our shop, Shiva Traders, isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep a lot of stuff inside. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. I usually spend the first hour just dusting the shelves because the road outside gets pretty dusty with all the traffic passing through the chowk. It is just how it is around here. People come in looking for things, sometimes they just want to chat for a bit about the weather or what is happening in the neighborhood. We do not have a big office or a reception desk. It is just us and the stock. Usually, my brother or one of the guys helps me move the heavier crates. We have seen the road change a lot over the years, new buildings going up and old ones getting painted, but we are still right here in the same corner. Sometimes the tea seller from across the street brings over a couple of cups and we sit on the stools for ten minutes. It is a simple life running a trade business. We do not try to do anything too complicated. We just open up, handle the orders that come in, and make sure everything is where it needs to be. It is a lot of manual work, honestly.
