Palei Brothers Foods and Manufacturing L Lp is out in Subarnapali, which is part of Kuchinda. It’s a family thing, as you can probably tell from the name. Being brothers and working together has its own set of challenges, but we make it work. We do manufacturing here, so there is always some kind of noise coming from the building. Kuchinda isn't a huge city, so everyone kind of knows what we are doing. We don't have a big corporate office or a PR team. It’s just us and a few workers on the floor. Most of our time is spent looking at machines and making sure the production doesn't stop. It’s a bit isolated out here compared to the big cities like Cuttack or Bhubaneswar, but we like it that way. The air is a bit clearer, even if the work is just as hard. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the warehouse that we need to sort through. Our days are long, starting early and ending when the work is finished, not just when the clock says so. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make food products and try to get them to where they need to go. It’s a local business through and through. We've been here for a bit and we know the rhythms of the town. We just keep our heads down and do the manufacturing.
