Nanagaram Steel

Our place is over in Khetrajpur, which is part of the Sambalpur district. We are pretty close to the State Bank of India branch there. It’s easy to find us if you just look for the bank. Sambalpur is our home, and we’ve been working with steel in this area for a long time. The yard is usually full of inventory. It’s a dusty job, and the sun can be quite strong out here in the open, but we’re used to it by now. We handle various types of steel for different local projects. It’s mostly loading and unloading, checking weights, and making sure the orders are correct. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Most of our work happens right there on the ground in the tehsil. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic passing by. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. We know the local people and they know where to find us when they have a job to do. It’s a simple setup. We don't bother with complicated marketing. We just provide what we have and try to be fair about it. Being near the bank means there’s always some activity around. We keep the gates open most of the day, even when it’s dusty outside.
