M/S Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.

We’ve been set up here at Qtr.No E2/4 in Hindalco Colony for a good while now. Being based in Hirakud means we are right in the middle of things in the Sambalpur district. Most people around here know us as Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd. It’s a bit of a long name to say every time someone calls. The weather in Orissa can get really tough, especially in the summers, but the work with fertilisers and chemicals doesn't really stop for the heat. We spend a lot of our time dealing with shipments and making sure the petrochemical side of things moves along without too many hiccups. The colony itself is pretty quiet, which is nice after a long day at the plant. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we can get the paperwork sorted and keep track of the inventory. Sometimes the power goes out, or the dust from the road gets into everything, but that is just part of living and working in this part of Sambalpur. We don’t have any big corporate speeches to give. We just show up to the E2/4 address, drink some tea, and handle the day's tasks as they come. It is a lot of logistics and technical stuff. People in the area know us as the fertiliser folks, and that is fine by us. We just keep our heads down and do the work needed for the corporation.
